Only in Pagoda set (One and Two) of  Travancore gold coins, where one can note the vernacular usage of Travancore as 'Thiruvithamcode'...'തിരുവിതാംകൊടു'.

And the only series of Gold  coins, where the year is written in English and Malayalam..(1877/൧o൫൨ ).

1892..to Bombay from Perumbavoor (Travancore)... combination frankings of Travancore & British India.

1892 Travancore 'Chuckram One' envelope to Bombay,  cancelled by 'Ti -40', eight barred circle of Perumbavoor on the obverse, and on the reverse with Travancore single line cds of  Perumbavoor (Kumbam 19, 1067....March 02), directed to the anchal transit office @ Paravur... single line cds (Ku 19), and then transferred to Imperial office @ Paravur, with 1/2 Anna blue-green Queen Victoria stamp ('Stamped' in maniscript), tied to reverse of the envelope with Paravur squared circle, and for onward transmission to Bombay (March 5, 1892).

1890 Travancore One Chuckram envelope carried by Anchal Runner (അഞ്ചൽ ഓട്ടക്കാരൻ), addressed from Pala (Thi-44) to the Dewan Peschkar of Kottayam..

Travancore 1918 registered crested privileged envelope from Varkala Town to Irinjalakuda (Cochin).

1918 officially registered  priveleged envelope of the State of Travancore, from the family (Tharananelloor) of Padmanabhaswamy Temple trustees, posted from VARKALA TOWN (scarce town cancel) to Irinjalakuda of Cochin State. 
Since this is  governmental envelope (falls under privileged post) , no stamps are required, as it is specifically mentioned (On Government Service..in Malayalam), and signed by the concerned official (bottom left).

Anchal Savings Bank Acknowledgement folded formula envelopes from the Anchal Superintendent office.

1929..Anchal Savings Bank Acknowledgement folded formula envelope from the  Anchal Superintendent office at Trivandrum to a depositor in Padmanabhapuram.

Sort of a confirmation letter from the Anchal Superintendent to the  savings account holder, acknowledging the remittance, reflected on the Anchal office Savings account ledger on a particular date, so as the account holder can verify with his Pass Book.

These letter sheets are scarce.

1903 Cash Six Wrapper... Line Ribbed paper

1903 Cash Six Newspaper wrapper printed on an unusually vertical lined ribbed wove paper.

Paper thicker than normal wove paper. 

The printers must have flipped to this line ribbed thick paper, once the existing stock of wove paper ran out of stock.

An interesting article of Travancore on the Village post office of Palliady, which came out in print in the India Study Circle (London, UK) magazine, 'India Post' 2009.

 Travancore 1888 first issue laid paper stamps with different town number cancels. The laid issues were in the field for a short duration, hardly less than a year.

Shown below are the തി (T) obliterators with numbers given for each Travancore towns, starting from Trivandrum (തി -1).

Scarce to collect in laid paper..not much exist.
