Krishnapuram anchal office post cards


Krishnapuram..where the palace built by King Martanda Varma is situated. 
Krishnapuram office..started in year 1064 ME (1888) was converted to Piravaka in year 1065/66 (1889/90) and was permanently closed in ME year 1067 (1891/92).



1) 1890....8 cash thin card posted from Krishnapuram ( Vri 21, 65...Dec 06, 1890) to Changnacherry (Dec 07)  with pre-stamp period type cancel.




 



2) 1894....8 cash perforated (10) thick card posted from Kottayam (Medam 8, 69..April 20, 1894) addressed to Krishnapuram. 
Since there is no office in Krishnapuram, endorsed via the missing transit station of Padayanarkulangara (manuscript on top of the card by the the Anchal master), to the nearest anchal  station of  Kayamkulam (April 21).
