 Money Order (Hundi) acknowledgement coupons, where the sender writes a message to the payee in brief.
This tear off portion, will not bear any postmarks, but the amount to be received by the payee is notified.

Obverse portion of the coupon where the communication is to be written by the sender/payer of the money order, to the receiver/payee of the payment. 

Travancore acknowledgement receipts

1898 British Travancore registered folded letter from Kolathur to Ernaoculam.

Posted from Kolathur (stamps lost) via Walawanad (Registered)  to Ernoculam & redirected to Mavelikara & Trivandrum...back to Ernoculam and returned to Kolathur via Walawanad. Interesting manuscripts on the obverse too regarding the 'letter not called for & redirected to Mavelimara', by the Anchal Man.

 Scribblings in red by the postmaster of places like Pandalam, Mavelikara, Trivandrum etc seen on the face of the letter.

1903...from Pulikunnu to Trivandrum, with the single line header inscription jumb printed.

Note the double print around the portrait.. the conch etc.

132 anniversary of Travancore stamps, cards & covers

 Today Thulam 1, October 16th, 132 years ago was the day that Travancore proudly introduced its first postal adhesive stamps & stationery.

Travancore Refused (നിഷേധിച്ചു) letters with 2 types of refused ( Nischdichu) in Malayalam with sub varieties with error.

TYPE 1 with sub varieties

'ത' for 'ധ'.
