1891..3 Chuckram envelope.. Manuscript of Registered & Pillar Post.

An extremely rare handwritten usage of  'REGISTERED. .No 206  Weight 1/2 tola'....and 'Munambom 66-9-13' (13-9-66.. ie 25 April 1891)....also scarce usage of hand written place and date.

April 25, 1891....Three Chuckram envelope registered from Munambam (pen written by postmaster, with the date in Malayalam numericals....66-9-13.....that is Malayalam year 1066 Medam 13.....April 25, 1891) via Paravoor to Kottayam (despatch cancel missing).

Registered charges.. 2 Chuckram & Postage 1 Chuckram.

'Thi-76' (also Thalavady)... Munambom....a small village bordering Travancore & Cochin......previously this number is known under Paravoor...as per recorded..though Paravoor is the  nearest designated post office.

Munambom.. a pick up point...a Pillar post..

Paravoor is earlier located under 3 'Thi' numbers...38, 64 & 76.

Thi-38 belongs to North Paravoor.

Thi-64 belongs to South Paravoor.

This envelope is posted from Munambam via Paravoor to Kottayam. Also in Malayalam manuscript is Registration with number.

As Munambam is a mail pickup point, does not have a registration, despatch or delivery seal in that period of usage. Hence, it has to be pen cancelled by the Anchal man.
