1924 unusual Trivandrum 'LOCAL' cancellation

'LOCAL' franking are seen on envelopes/cards which operates within a limited geographical area, typically within a city or a single transportation route at close quarters.

'LOCAL' franking seen only used from Kumbam (February) to Karkatakam (July) in the Malayalam year 1099 (1924)...probably ended with the 'Great flood of '99'  ('തൊണ്ണൂറ്റി ഒമ്പതിലെ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം'), which flooded the town of Trichur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alleppey and the hill station of Munnar.

Five Cash Sri Moolam potrait card from Nagercoil (8 Kar 99..23 July, 1924) to Trivandrum (24 July).

1924 Ten Cash envelope posted from an Experimental Office in Trivandrum (March 14) to a 'local' post office routed via Chalai (March 15).

The bottom cancel is from the collection of Dr Mohan, Trichur.
