Manuscript notation in cancels

Travancore 1895 A.D. One Chuckram envelope from Mannar(Thi 70) to Quilon...but the year (71) in the despatch Mannar cancel is in manuscript by the Postmaster.
This cover is posted on the first day of the first month (Chingam1st, 1071 Malayalam year).
