RANI GOURI PARVATHI BAI COPPER COINS OF (1815 - '29)...

Travancore Rani Gouri Parvathi Bayi (1815 - 1829)...Copper coins.

Kasu One, Kasu Two, Kasu Four & Kasu Eight.

One can consider this 8 cash (4.53 gms & 20mm) copper coin, as the Holy Grail of Travancore coins. Reckon, this coin's not very popular, those days....of its big size, and since the value is only 1/2 chuckram, people found it hard to carry these, instead of Chinna chuckrams (0.18gms & 5mm). Probably very very low mintage, hence the rarity.
