ANCHAL HUNDI....3 DIFFERENT ...MINT FORMS

Travancore Anchal Hundis.......3 different..

Inland Hundi, Foreign Hundi (only to Cochin State) & Revenue Hundi.

A Hundi (money order) is an order issued by an Anchal office for payment of a sum of money (on behalf of a person) from an Anchal office.

When Hundi was introduced by Travancore, there was a provision on the Hundi form, for the payee to communicate with the remitter......a privelege which was not allowed in the British Indian Postal Department......a distinct improvement over the British system.
